How residential proxies work
You connect to the gateway gw.proxyfarm.ru over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5, and the gateway routes the request through a home address in the country you need. Parameters go in the login, for example user-country-de-city-berlin-session-a1b2, so one login and password cover every country and mode.
- Rotation on every request. Each HTTP request leaves from a new address. Ideal for scraping and monitoring.
- Sticky session. The address is pinned to a session ID for up to 30 minutes. Needed for logging into accounts and placing orders.
- Targeting. Country is required, city and ASN are optional. Large countries also offer states and regions.
