“Which proxies do I need for Avito?” is a question asked by anyone running several accounts on Russia's largest classifieds site: real estate agencies, car dealers, sellers trading through multiple legal entities, marketers posting regional listings. The short answer: mobile proxies from Russian carriers with an IP in the region of your listings, one channel per 3–5 accounts, from 490 ₽ (≈ $5) a month.
Below we explain why, when a plain IPv4 is enough, how to get the region right and what newcomers most often do wrong in their first days.
Why Avito blocks accounts and what the IP has to do with it
Avito scores every account on a combination of signals, and the IP address is one of the most important. The platform can see that dozens of profiles were registered from or log in through the same address, that the address belongs to a datacenter rather than a telecom carrier, or that the IP's region does not match the city in the listing. Any of these raises the account's risk score.
Then come the standard reactions: an SMS verification request, listings silently hidden from search, and finally a ban “for violating the rules” with a demand for passport scans. Worse, one banned account drags the others down with it if they share an IP, a device or payment details.
A proxy solves only part of the problem: it gives each account its own “clean” address in the right region. The device, cookies, behaviour and listing content are separate matters, covered below.
Mobile proxies vs IPv4: what actually works on Avito
Datacenter IPv4 addresses are easy to identify through ASN databases. Avito treats them with suspicion: a new account on such an IP will very likely get a phone verification right away, and its listings will rank worse. Mobile proxies are addresses of real carriers (MTS, Beeline, MegaFon, Tele2) with millions of ordinary smartphone users behind them. Banning such an IP is bad business for the platform: genuine customers would be hit.
| Criterion | Mobile proxies | Dedicated IPv4 |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | 4G/LTE modems, telecom carriers | Datacenter, hosting |
| Avito's trust | High: tens of thousands of real subscribers behind each IP | Low: easily identified as datacenter |
| IP change | By link or by timer, address from the carrier's pool | Static, replaced manually only |
| Accounts per channel | 3–5 on a shared channel, up to 10–15 on a dedicated device with rotation | 1, at most 2 with different session geo |
| ProxyFarm price | From 490 ₽/mo shared channel, 2 500 ₽/mo dedicated device | From 79 ₽ per IP per month |
| Best for | Registration, warming up, running 3+ accounts, listings in several regions | 1–2 warmed-up accounts that have long been managed from a single address |
The conclusion is simple: for registering new accounts and managing them at scale, mobile proxies only. IPv4 makes sense when an account has already passed its checks and you simply want to pin a permanent address to it.
IP region: why a Moscow IP is wrong for listings in Kazan
Avito compares the IP's region with the city in the listing and with the geolocation reported by the browser. If a realtor from Kazan publishes apartments from a Moscow address, it is not fatal, but it is one more signal in the risk score. Add a few more such signals and the listing can drop out of search.
How to pick the region:
- For listings in one city, take a mobile channel from a farm in that region or a neighbouring one. ProxyFarm's farms are in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Kazan, covering Central Russia, the North-West and the Volga region.
- For nationwide campaigns with listings in dozens of cities, several channels in different regions work better than a single shared one.
- A mobile carrier assigns the IP's region by the home region of the SIM card, not by where the modem physically sits. Clarify this with the provider before buying.
- Do not use foreign IPs: a Russian account logging in from a German or Turkish address is an almost guaranteed verification.
How many accounts can run on one IP
Avito does not publish a single limit, but the experience of sellers and agencies gives stable reference points. Treat them as the upper bound for careful work, not as the norm.
- Shared mobile channel: 3–5 accounts. The channel is shared between several of the provider's customers, so the IP already carries some load. Good for getting started and for small agencies.
- Dedicated mobile device: 10–15 accounts with IP rotation between sessions. You are the only user of the modem, and addresses from the carrier's pool change on your schedule.
- Dedicated IPv4: 1 account. It is a static address, and several profiles on it get linked together within a couple of days.
- Shared IPv4: not for Avito. Bulk addresses are shared between dozens of buyers, and the IP's history is unpredictable.
An important rule: accounts that work from the same IP must not be online at the same time. Space sessions out by at least 10–15 minutes and rotate the IP between them.
Anti-detect browser and profile setup
A proxy swaps the address, but Avito also sees the browser fingerprint: screen resolution, fonts, WebGL, time zone, language. If ten accounts log in from different IPs but with an identical Chrome fingerprint on the same computer, the link between them is established anyway.
For 3 or more accounts you need an anti-detect browser: Dolphin Anty, AdsPower, Octo Browser, Undetectable. The setup principles are the same everywhere:
- One browser profile, one account, one proxy. Do not move proxies between profiles.
- The profile's time zone and language match the IP's region. For a mobile proxy from Kazan: UTC+3, ru-RU.
- A mobile browser User-Agent pairs more logically with a mobile IP, but desktop Chrome on an LTE address also looks natural: people tether their laptops to their phones all the time.
- In the anti-detect browser choose SOCKS5 or HTTP: ProxyFarm's mobile channels serve both on the same port.
With 1–2 accounts an anti-detect browser is overkill: a separate Chrome profile with a proxy extension is enough.
Beginner mistakes that cost accounts in the first week
Most bans in the first few days are caused not by bad proxies but by bad process. This list is compiled from typical support tickets.
- Registering a batch of accounts in an hour. Five new profiles from one channel in a single evening is a pattern the platform knows well. Spread registrations over several days.
- Posting listings right after registration. Give the account 2–3 days: log in, browse search results, add favourites, fill in the profile.
- Identical text and photos in listings from different accounts. Avito compares content; a proxy cannot help here.
- Changing the IP mid-session. Rotation by timer every 5 minutes is great for scraping, but for an account it looks like flying between cities. Rotate between sessions, not inside them.
- Logging into an old banned account from a new proxy. The address gets flagged, and a new account on it starts with a damaged reputation.
- Buying proxies without checking them. Before you start, run the IP through the proxy checker: address type, region, spam databases. ProxyFarm checks every IP before delivery, but a check on your side never hurts.
Ready-made configurations for specific tasks are on the proxies for Avito page. A mobile channel can be tested free for one hour, no card required.
Related questions
Will free proxies work for Avito?
No. Free lists consist of datacenter addresses that thousands of users, spammers included, have already passed through. Such IPs sit in every blacklist, and an account on one gets a verification on its very first login. Avito needs a mobile IP from a Russian carrier with a clean history.
Mobile proxies for Avito: shared channel or dedicated device?
For 3–5 accounts a shared channel from 490 ₽ per month is enough. If you have 10 or more accounts, or need rotation on your own schedule without neighbours affecting it, take a dedicated device for 2 500 ₽. Corporate setups with separate modems for a sales department are discussed individually.
Why does Avito block an account even with a mobile proxy?
A proxy covers only the IP. The remaining signals are the browser fingerprint, identical listing texts, a shared phone number or payment details, and actions that are too fast after registration. Check your anti-detect profile and warm-up process before switching providers.
Do I need IP rotation for Avito?
Yes, but between sessions of different accounts, not inside a single one. Change the IP by link, then log into the next account. Changing the address in the middle of a session, on the contrary, looks suspicious and may trigger a verification request.
